Bower is a contemporary design studio based in New York City founded by Danny Giannella and Tammer Hijazi in 2013. Through a free experimental process, they design and produce a range of furniture, lighting, and home accessories, all with the same spirit of discovery and surprise. Since 2013, their work has remained a confluence of media and disciplines, both in its influence and results. Their work for domestic and industrial environments is simultaneously inquisitive and novel, minimal and bold. I visited them in their studio for 1985, and the resulting document is below.
