Joy Ride

Nikon

The short film “Joy Ride" was commissioned by Nikon to put the features of the new Nikon D800 to the test prior to its release to the public. Through the story of a mystery motorcyclist’s mid-night journey, we set out to explore the versatility and depth of the Nikon D800, closing off major roadways for some high performance motorcycle action with the Isle of Man TT champion Mark Miller, and capturing one of life’s most amazing miracles for a surprise ending. Produced by 1985's Kaitlyn Parks, the film was shot with 6 cameras over several nights in downtown Chicago.
