Matt Boyd was born in Virginia and grew up in Germany and throughout the American South. His work has been seen worldwide in festivals, art spaces, television and the web.
As a director, Boyd's works include independent and commercial profiles of artists like Adam Levine, Bon Iver, NeYo, 50 Cent, Eminem, The Flaming Lips, Pixies and Dolly Parton. Recent works include his critically acclaimed debut feature film, "A Rubberband Is An Unlikely Instrument," Moby's concert film "Almost Home: Live At The Fonda," and notable online campaigns for GE, Heineken, and Nike's Cannes Lion winner, "Carmello Anthony Explosive Flight."
