Magnetic Kitchen

Magnetic Kitchen brings together digital content and design in an earthy blend of craftsmanship and engagement. As makers, creatives and communicators, they certainly know how to concept and deliver across many mediums; graphic design, photography, video, furniture design, digital fabrication, and laser-cutting to name a few. 

On any given afternoon, you’ll find them cooking up something creative. Which is literally what they did with their Bonfire typeface exploration. “We modified [the typeface] in Illustrator and printed the letters on the machine. Then we lit them on fire and shot it with a macro lens. We got to let out our inner-pyro for the afternoon.” – Kayla Colaizzi, Founder, Magnetic Kitchen / 1985 Issue 10.
